Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms apply when you use PharmaStudy, operated by Zakki Tariq, trading as an individual (not yet registered as a sole trader) ("we", "us"), a revision and OSCE practice platform for pharmacy students. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

1. What PharmaStudy is, and isn't

PharmaStudy is a study aid. It is not a substitute for your university course, official teaching, the BNF, NICE guidance, or any other authoritative clinical source. AI-generated content (flashcards, MCQs, OSCE feedback) is clearly labelled as AI-assisted, may contain mistakes, and is not official university marking or clinical advice. You're responsible for checking important clinical information, such as doses and contraindications, against a trusted source before relying on it.

2. Your account

3. Plans and pricing

PharmaStudy offers a Free plan, and paid Plus and Pro plans, billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Paid plans include a monthly allowance of AI features (shown on the Plans page), and Pro includes a 7-day free trial on the monthly plan, with a smaller AI allowance during the trial itself, also shown on the Plans page. We may change prices or what's included in a plan; if we do, we'll show the new price before you're charged it, and existing subscribers keep their current price until they change or cancel their plan.

4. Fair use of AI features

AI features (lecture uploads, the AI patient OSCE) have a monthly limit, shown on the relevant page, to keep the service sustainable. Once you reach your limit, that feature pauses until it resets, or until your plan or trial status changes. Please don't try to get around these limits, for example by creating multiple accounts to repeatedly claim free trials.

5. Friends and shared content

If you add a friend using a friend code, your display name becomes visible to them, and depending on what you choose to share, they may be able to practise OSCE stations you've written. Don't include personal, sensitive or identifying real information in anything you choose to share with friends.

6. Cancelling, and your right to a cooling-off period

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the Plans page. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of your current paid period or trial.

By subscribing, you're asking us to start giving you access straight away, rather than waiting, since that's the point of trying it out. Even so, as a UK consumer you still have a legal right to change your mind about a new subscription within 14 days, for any reason, no explanation needed. The law would technically let us refund only a proportion of that based on how much you'd used — instead, to keep this simple and fair: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we'll refund that payment in full, whatever you've used in the meantime. Just email us at the address below.

The 7-day Pro trial itself is free, so you can cancel any time during the trial without being charged at all. The 14-day right above starts from your first actual payment — once the trial ends and billing begins, or straight away if you choose Plus or yearly Pro, which don't have a trial.

If you're on a yearly plan, UK law also gives you a fresh 14-day right to change your mind each time that plan renews for another year, not just when you first subscribe.

This cooling-off right doesn't apply once a paid period has already fully run its course — for example, asking for a refund on a monthly plan after using it for several weeks. You can still cancel then, as above, you just won't be owed a refund for that period.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't use PharmaStudy to:

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the flashcards, questions, and OSCE stations you create. By creating them, you give us permission to store and display them back to you, and, where you choose to share them with friends, to those friends.

9. No guarantee, and limits on our liability

PharmaStudy is provided as a study aid, as-is, without guaranteeing it will always be available, error-free, or clinically accurate. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for exam results, clinical decisions, or other outcomes based on using the service. Nothing here limits our liability where the law doesn't allow us to, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know, for example by email or a notice on the site.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
